Gordon Jones is just 26 years-old and head chef at one of the UK’s leading restaurants, the Royal Crescent in Bath. He desperately wants to change the way British households are consuming cheap, processed foods so is setting out to get families cooking tasty and healthy meals, eating together again and reconnecting with each other. In each episode Gordon takes two virgin cooks and sets them against each other in a seven-day cookery competition. By the end of the week the person who has come the furthest goes on to cook a three-course menu for 20-30 friends and family.
