Hugh you are amazingly inspiring!!.. everytime i watch your show my dream of wanting to be self sufficient is strengthened.. shortly after watching your shows i find myself in my garden. Thanks for offering such a 'real' and 'authentic' alternative to how we can live our lives.. love it!

Can anybody tell me where on the website I can get details about building the outdoor pizza oven? I tuned in after Hugh had started building it.....

Hugh your shows are great I absolutely love them and try not to miss each episode. Can anyone tell me where on this website I can find his recipes for the various shows Hugh has done. I would love the recipes for the various breads you made as well as your drop scones and pancakes

This man is SO inspiring! I have followed his programmes for years and yearned to follow his ways - finally I have started growing my own veg (about to be inundated with lebanese cucumbers and zucchini and totally hooked on my own rocket - yummy!) More importantly, he inspired me long ago to buy only free range or organic eggs, and in the last few years likewise with chicken. I refuse to buy bbq chickens from the supermarket, safe in the knowledge that the factory farmers are slowly going broke and will eventually realise that the public want free range chickens or no chickens AT ALL!!! Free range pork/bacon is next on my watchlist - where will it end? Fabulous show, fabulous man....don't ever stop Hugh!

I love Hugh! I have followed his shows from the beginning.......Twice or even three times! I love his way of life.
I also hate pre packaged food, and try to grow as much as I can, or buy from farms.
I can't wait!!!

I personally would'nt eat offal, nor snails eeww! but I also hate oysters!

His bread recipe is the best ever.

Excellent, hugh is always an interesting character and a provides a wealth of simple delicious recipes as well as ideas for simple healthy living I never tire of him. I also cant wait, my partner calls him a grub but I disagree, just because he dares to eat offal and snails and makes the most from road kill ! I say bring it on hugh !

Yes his bread recipe is yummo ! I agree, he makes use of everything he grows all those delirious jams and chutneys ! I would love his lifestyle choice............Master chef can keep their over rated over priced "snow egg" give me one of Hugh's pancakes or omelets any day, all that fancy over complicated trendy "stacked up high" food is ridiculous we need to go back to good hearty nutritious food not eye candy on a plate that costs an absolute fortune. Hugh's books are great and I highly recommend having one or two on your cookbook shelf.
