Lexus Young Chef is a unique national awards program that seeks out the industry’s rising young stars with the assistance of over 20 of Australia’s most successful chefs, restaurateurs and industry leaders. We follow the six state finalists as they enjoy their prize of a five day tour of Western Australia’s Coral Coast and Gascoyne region; as they meet leading primary producers (meat, seafood, horticulture and viticulture) and as they face the various challenges leading to the announcement of Australia’s next generation restaurant champion.
