From sea fishing off Poole to rare pigs in Hampshire and lamb in his native Yorkshire, James makes sure he gets the best produce for some exceptional meals - with some vegetables from his own garden to complete the presentation. James shows you how to create the best seafood feast, French dish, smoked delicacy, traditional Yorkshire dish and a Christmas feast with mouth-watering results. As well James suggests suitable wines to go with the food and invites a guest to taste the finished dish. The series also includes some grand historic dishes and we meet viewers who show us the great celebration feasts they have prepared for that special day.
