When will the new series be shown? It would be great if we could get this 'Direct from the UK' like Foxtel does with so many of its other shows.

I think that the judges should show their bake in the technical so the contestants can see what they were aiming for.

Where can I buy the series? Australian and or British bake off can find any DVD's anywhere.

Very confused as to what series they are up to in real life. The Aussie version was fun and I loved the American one too - the food was very strange at times but the contestants were more interesting than the UK ones.

I never know which series is which, I always tape the first episode to see if I have seen it, and feel very cheated when it is just a repeat of the last season.

There was an Australian version last year with Shane Jacobsen and Anna Gare. Haven't had another one this year though, which is a pity, I really enjoyed it.

good to just see baking just simple good old baking none of the trying to turn everyday people in to some top notch 5 star baker/ chef like the other shows, all we need now is one here in oz and i agree with Paul keep the product placement out and it will be a hit. keep it simple and the show will around for a while yet

What a refreshingly interesting program.
Liked the fact that the focus was on baking, the history of baking and a small amount on the contestants home lives. No product placement or cross promotional advertising - just baking.
If the format stay exactly the same, I would love to see an Australian version of this program.
If product placement rears its ugly head, then don't do it...I, for one won't watch that.
