Award-winning, world renowned patisserie and desserts chef, Eric Lanlard, returns with a brand new series of Glamour Puds. This time the French chef will uncover the story of Antonin Careme, the first celebrity chef who became famous cooking for Napoleon, Tsar Alexander and the Prince Regent during the 19th century.
Throughout the series Eric will follow Antonin’s journey, from his humble beginnings as a poor and destitute child to one of Europe’s most celebrated chefs. Eric will take this legacy back into the kitchen when he recreates some of the lavish desserts the chef was famous for including a macaroon tower, chocolate fondant with vacherin glace, orange soufflé and frozen meringue with berries and cream.
