I am a little annoyed by the introduction to this program! My father emigrated from Guangzhou (Canton), China in 1956. His brothers had already settled in Melbourne, Australia - opening one of the first Chinese restaurants here. Obviously they bought their cooking utensils with them - including a wok. Lifestyle Food has credited Ken Hom with being the godfather of Chinese food who introduced the wok to the western world more than 30 years ago. This is offensive and really, one American born Chinese is responsible for introducing the wok to the western world? Who does he think he is? You are putting down other Chinese nationals around the world with your tunnel vision view and opinions!
