About the Show

Choccywoccydoodah is a brand new 10 part documentary series that follows the internationally acclaimed Brighton based cake shop and its team of talented and quirky chocolatiers as they create chocolate masterpieces that are quite simply out of this world.
The statistics behind Choccywoccydoodah are jaw dropping. Each year they produce 7500 cakes, build cakes 6 feet tall, charge up to £9K a piece and boast a celebrity client list that includes Madonna, Hugh Grant, Bob Geldof, Kylie, Katie Price and the Scissor Sisters – they even make all the chocolate for Tim Burton’s movies including Charlie & the Chocolate Factory and Alice in Wonderland. When it comes to beautiful, unique, mega cakes these guys are the best in the business.
Each episode sees boss Christine and her maverick team building bespoke cake creations for a quite extraordinary range of people. We see rock legend Alice Cooper marvel at his spooky 4 foot Halloween skull cake, we witness the astonishing cake engineering involved in constructing the shoe designer Laboutin’s stunning shapely leg and killer heel shoe cake, we see a Choccywoccydoodah cake take pride of place with Davina McCall at her favourite charity’s fund raiser and the team create a cake to compliment party girl Zoe Ball’s 40th birthday celebrations at Claridges.
Be prepared to be transported to a chocolate world like you've never seen before; magical, enticing and quite fantastical.

I love the Cakes on this show, they're spectacular works of art! My mum and sister are visiting London at the moment and visited the London Choccywoccydoodah store to take pics (I begged them to as they don't watch the show). They said that it was the highlight of their trip so far and can't wait to visit the Brighton store (from the show) next week. They've posted me back one of the Easter sheep made on one of the new episodes - don't think I'll be able to eat it, too precious!!! They also asked about sending wedding cakes to Australia as I'm getting married in November. They said they post ALL over the world - yay!!! The cake might cost more than my dress but it will be totally worth it :p

This show might lack the drama queen factor but it also lacks decent, professional looking cakes. They all don't look finished - especially the back of them, which the cakes produced by the other shows do. These cakes just look like they have uncohesive elements stuck on willy nilly...and the paintwork! It's seriously a shocker.

I agree. I just saw my first episode today and the owner really screwed up on the Alice Cooper cake. She interfered/took over and made the assistant stop working so it still looked 'edible'. He wanted to carry on and make it realistic. Maybe he should take over or open his own place, I think he'd do better without her. It still looked good but the painting stage really genuinely looked like a kid had coloured it in with felt tip pens. Also the staff did this lengthy survey on which cake recipe was better, every single member of the public they asked preferred this one cake and the owner wouldn't listen and went for the other one. I genuinely don't understand how she got a show made about her shop. Some of the staff are great but she doesn't seem to know what she's doing at all and just bulldozes over everything even when it goes against the opinion of literally every single customer she has.

Is it just me, or is anyone else freaked out by the owner? I find this one too hard to watch, and scary....

Totally agree. It's a weird show - not in a good way...
