The premiere episode of Ask the Butcher looks at the difference between grass and grain-fed beef. Anthony travels to Stanley in northwest Tasmania to learn about grass-fed cattle, and then to Rangers Valley NSW to learn about grain-fed beef. Neil Perry shows us his tips for cooking the perfect steak and back at the butcher shop, Anthony breaks down a side of beef to show us where the eye fillet comes from. After learning a few butcher’s tips, Sydney chef Colin Fassnidge shows us how to turn a cheaper cut of beef into something truly amazing.

Theb1st show was great. Loved some of the recipes about have had trouble finding them on the website. Just hope the rest of the programs are just as good. The husband has even liked the show.
