Figaro provided some of the best food I've had in years, with an offering of Italian cuisine that I've not really had since being in Naples.
I'll be going back very soon.

I just get a pizza to go and love that Figaro do pizzas that are true to form for what you find in the heart of Italy. Best restaurant in Kingston and best Italian restaurant in ACT - hands down.
The price is fine when you consider that you get what you pay for. Top quality does need to come with a bit more of a price.

Still lovely and worth the detour from Belconnen to get to.
I've seen the menu change a bit over the years, but to the chef's credit, each dish I've tried has been a pleasure to eat.
Serious food lovers should become familiar with Figaro.

With a fresh streak of freezing weather, I needed some comfort food and remembered some of the times I'd had with Figaro before. I booked a table and it was just what I hoped for. The food was delicious and ever so filling and scrumptious.

Great new fit out. Just had a gorgeous lunch here over an hour or two.

It's been a while since I was able to come in for dinner ad I'm full of joy to find that it has only gotten better with age. The little restaurant is lovely and I appreciate that the manager even remembered me from those years back.
I went for an all-time favourite; gnocci with prawns. It was soft, moreish and delicious. Followed by a couple of scoops of gelati and I was a happy man.

I came here with high hopes having heard friends rave about their authentic Italian approach to cooking. I’ve spent some time in Italy and will now go out of my way to search out proper Italian food now that I’m back in Australia. The lady who served us was a delight and pointed out a few dishes to ensure we enjoyed our night there.
I was thrilled with the food. It was so reminiscent of everything I fell in love with on my trip. They even have a gelato that would rival any of the artisans in Rome. The pistachio is world class – it has even been awarded top honours in a national contest. If you have time in Canberra, then Figaro is a true ‘must’.

Almost ten years on from their humble opening, the word about Figaro seems to be closely guarded. The regulars flock there and don't seem to want the great reputation to spread. But it's time for everyone to become better acquainted with the brilliant work that has been bringing in the crowds for the last decade.
Figaro is a cool, relaxed and confident Italian restaurant. The manager has been hold the reins steady for the whole time and is a marvel at keeping the smooth pace going. The food is fantastic - but what would you expect after ten years of pleasing the locals. Figaro is worth a trip, and then worth a trip back.

I came here to kick off a good night out and it was wonderful. The proscuitto was so suculent and sweet smelling. I orderd an anti-pasto then a pizza just to get more of it. They get some good wines in too - always impressive. I had a nice Malbec from Argentina. I'll have to go back for dessert - they sounded amazing.

With a wide ranging menu anyone can find a 'favourite' here. I have about 8 that I frequently order, but my top pick is their Sicilian style steak. It's done with a sweet mushroom sauce that is so comforting and makes me happy just smelling it. If I'm in a rush, I just get a pizza to go and love that they do pizzas that are true to form for what you find in the heart of Italy. Best restaurant in Kingston and best Italian restaurant in ACT - hands down.
