  • 1 veal loin

  • 6 slices of middle bacon

  • 1 tsp Horseradish sauce

  • 1 tsp French Mustard

  • 1 brown onion thinly sliced

  • 3 medium potatoes thinly sliced

  • 300ml water


  • 1.

    Trim the veal loin of all sinew then smear with the horseradish and French mustard.

  • 2.

    Wrap the loin with the bacon.

  • 3.

    Place the sliced onions and potatoes in an oven tray, put the veal on top and pour in the water.

  • 4.

    Bake at 220c for 30-40 minutes, allow to rest, slice and serve on the potatoes and onions.
