Banana and Date Oaten Slice

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas, sliced

  • 2 cups rolled oats

  • ½ cup almonds, roughly chopped

  • ½ cup dried dates, pitted and chopped

  • 100g melted butter

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • 1 egg

  • ½ tsp McKenzie Ground cinnamon

  • 50g McKenzie’s Moist Coconut Flakes

Method

  • 1.

    Place all the ingredients into a mixing bowl, stir through with a wooden spoon until well combined.

  • 2.

    Line a small baking tray with grease- proof paper and fill with the mixture, press down so that there are no gaps.

  • 3.

    Place into a pre-heated oven at 200C for 15 minutes.
