This is a very balanced meal with meat, veges, tofu and mushrooms - all in one pot.
Mix Ingredients A and sauce and set aside for ½ hour.
Shallow fry tofu, drain on kitchen paper towel and cut into 3cms cubes
Heat pan/wok and add 3 tablespoons of olive oil. When pan/wok is sizzling hot, add marinated ingredients and stir fry for about 15 mins. Remove from pan and set aside.
Add ½ cup of warm water to deglaze pan/wok.
Add mushrooms, stir fry for 5 mins.
Add cooked pork and mix well. Simmer for 5 mins.
Add fried tofu and Ingrediens D. Mix well and fry for another 5 mins.
Finally add Ingredients E.
Serve with rice or noodles.
Kicap manis can be substituted by mixing dark soy sauce with honey.
If using root vegetables e.g. carrots, parsnips etc - please par boil them
