TASTY CHICKEN PUFF PASTRIES SO GARLICY
NEVER A DISSAPOINTMENT, I MADE HIS UP FOR A PARTY OF GARLIC LOVERS AND IT WAS HIT!

Ingredients

  • 2 CHICKEN BREAST HALVES SLICED THINLY

  • 4 TABLESPOONS OF CRUSHED/MINCED GARLIC

  • 125 GM BUTTER

  • 1 TBSP CHOPPED CHIVES

  • SALT AND PEPPER

  • 4 SHEETS OF PUFF PASTRY THAWED

  • CUT INTO 4'S

Method

  • 1.

    HEAT A PAN

  • 2.

    ADD THE BUTTER CHICKEN AND GARIC AND COOK UNTIL GARLIC IS FULLY COOKED

  • 3.

    ADD THE CHIVES

  • 4.

    SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE

  • 5.

    COOL THE MIX BACK TO SOLID BUTTER

  • 6.

    HEAT OVEN TO 200 C

  • 7.

    LIGHTLY OIL A SHALLOW TRAY

  • 8.

    TO PREPARE PASTRYS -

  • 9.

    CUT INTO 4'S

  • 10.

    PLACE APPX 2 TBSP OF MIX IN THE CENTRE AND THEN SEAL INTO A SHAPE OF YOUR CHOICE

  • 11.

    I DO RECTANGLES BY FOLDINGTHE OP AND BOTOM IN THEN THE SIDES ON TOP JUST OVERLAPPING AND PINCH SHUT.

  • 12.

    BRUSH WITH ANY LEFT OVER BUTTER

  • 13.

    SPRINKLE WITH SESAME SEEDS

  • 14.

    PLACE ON TRAYS SPACED APART AND BAKE FOR 15 MNS OR TILL GOLDEN

Made these last night for dinner. I think I went a little overboard with the garlic so next time i'll reduce the amount i put in. Very nice though and so simple to make. You're right these would be delicious as small finger food for a drinks party.
