Indulge in this classic Italian drink of fresh brewed espresso poured over a scoop of vanilla ice-cream.


  • 4 shots of freshly brewed espresso

  • 2 tsp Artificial Sweetener

  • Vanilla ice cream, well frozen

  • Whipped cream.


  • 1.

    Add the sugar to the espresso and dissolve

  • 2.

    Scoop out your ice cream into individual ramekins or little desert dishes

  • 3.

    Pour a 30ml of the espresso over each serving

  • 4.

    Dollop some whipped cream to the side.

  • 5.



Tips- if the ice cream is too hard, dip the spoon in hot water between scoops.
Artificial sweetener can be left out or swapped with caster sugar as long as you dissolve it well.

Cheat- use a store brought whipped dream.
