A simple cranberry and mustard glaze adds a delicious sweetness and enhances the flavour of a whole roasted turkey.


  • 1 whole turkey

  • 3 tablespoons cranberry jam

  • 1 tbs whole grain mustard


  • 1.

    Bake the turkey in the oven 190°C/ gas mark 5, covered with foil.

  • 2.

    While the turkey is cooking, prepare the glaze. Mix the cranberry jam and mustard in a bowl until well combined.

  • 3.

    Half an hour before the turkey is cooked, remove the turkey from the oven and remove the foil. Brush the glaze generously over the turkey.

  • 4.

    Return to the oven uncovered and cook for 30 minutes.
