This is great fresh and warm, but even better when left overnight.
I always take a big bowl to BBQ'S and return empty handed.


  • 1 X 400g tin Tuna in Brine

  • 1 X 500g Pkt Spiral Pasta

  • 2 crushed cloves of Garlic

  • Juice of 1 Lemon

  • 1/3 Cup Chopped Parsley (flat or curly)

  • 1 Tablespoon of Olive Oil

  • Pinch of Salt


  • 1.

    Fill a large pot/ saucepan with water and bring to the boil.

  • 2.

    Add salt and pasta.

  • 3.

    Open tuna and drain.

  • 4.

    Flake into large bowl and add garlic,1/2 of lemon juice and parsley.

  • 5.

    When pasta cooked, drain and add to tuna bowl.

  • 6.

    Toss until combined.

  • 7.

    Taste and add more lemon juice to taste.

  • 8.

    It should be tangy.

  • 9.

    Put in the fridge for an hour or even better overnight.

  • 10.

    Serve and enjoy.

I sometimes add fine diced capsicum and or sweetc ron to this to add colour.
Add what you like I would like to hear all the different combinations. I also serve as a side dish with grilled fish or steak.
