A light and tasty desert. Simple to make and delicious.
Preheat oven to hot (200 /220 degrees celcius fan forced)
Peel core and halve the apple. Slice apple thinly
Cut pastry sheet in halves to form 2 rectangles
Place the pastry on a greased oven tray
Overlap the the apple slices down the centre of the pastry halves.
Brush the apple with butter and sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar.
Bake tarts in a hot oven for approximately 15 minutes or until pastry is browned.
Brush tarts with apricot jam.
