A tasty blend of flavoursome ingredients , in a crispy bread cup , topped with a sprinkle of your favourite hard cheese . Fabulous as a snack or as an accompaniment to your favourite vegetable soup for a hearty winter meal .
Grease a 12 cup muffin pan
Preheat oven 200 C
Remove crusts and generously butter bread on one side , line muffin pan holes , butter side down .
Finely chop ingredients , using a large stovetop pan sweat all ingredients in a little butter and 1/4 th cup water , when all are beginning to be tender , increase heat and fry stirring constantly to reduce pan juices.
Put evenly into bread cups, season with pepper and top with a little cheese. cook until bread is crisp and cheese is browning .
