Easy recipe for boyfriends and husbands to make for the ones they love - Valentine's Day

Ingredients

  • 1 packet raspberry jelly

  • 1 cup frozen/fresh raspberries

  • 1 tablespoon chambord liqueur

  • 1 cup boiling water

  • .5 cup tap water

  • .5 cup milk

  • 10 grams gelatine

  • 1 cup cream

  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

  • 1 cup frozen/fresh raspberries

  • 1 tablespoon water

  • 2 tablespoons sugar

  • Extra raspberries

  • 6 heart shaped moulds - .5 cup capcity

Method

  • 1.

    Tip packet jelly into heatproof jug

  • 2.

    Add 1 cup boiling water

  • 3.

    Stir until dissolved

  • 4.

    Add .5 cup tap water

  • 5.

    Add chambord liqueur

  • 6.

    Sitr until mixed

  • 7.

    Measure .25 cup of jelly mixture into each of six heart shaped moulds

  • 8.

    Divide raspberries evenly between six moulds

  • 9.

    Place on tray and set for 2-3 hours in refrigerator

  • 10.

    Heat milk in small saucepan on stove top (do not boil)

  • 11.

    Add gelatine and whisk until dissolved

  • 12.

    Add cream and vanilla extract

  • 13.

    Mix until combined

  • 14.

    Check jelly is set

  • 15.

    Measure .25 cup creamy mixture into each of the six moulds - placing the creamy mixture on top of jelly

  • 16.

    Return to refrigerator for another 2-3 hours until set

  • 17.

    In small saucepan place raspberries, water and sugar

  • 18.

    Stir until raspberries are soft and sugar has dissolved

  • 19.

    Place cooked raspberries through sieve

  • 20.

    Place raspberry liquid in refrigerator to cool

  • 21.

    Run a sharp knife around the edge of each mould

  • 22.

    Stand in hot water no more than 5 seconds

  • 23.

    Tip gently onto middle of plate

  • 24.

    Decorate with extra raspberries and coulis

Notes

Will make between 6 to 8 individual desserts depending on the size and shape of moulds
Used 1 / 300 gram packet of frozen raspberries
Chambord liqueur can be replace by any raspberry, strawberry or vanilla liqueur
