Lightly griddled peaches with the flavour of Star Anise - perfect for summer and a great way to enjoy fruits in season.
This recipe can also be used for other stone fruits, but my personal favourite is peach.
Using a griddle on the stove, melt butter, brown sugar and star anise together over low heat.
Cut peaches in half and remove stones.
Place peaches face down on griddle and cook lightly for 1-2 minutes and turn.
Serve peaches on warm plate with some of the melted butter/sugar/anise mixture spooned onto each peach.
Top with King Island Dairy Honey Cinnamon Yoghurt
Try not to overcook peaches or burn the sugar mixture by using too high a temperature.
