Yummy creamy salad.


  • 4 kg of chat or pontiac potatoes

  • 2 cups of mayonaise

  • 400 ml sour cream

  • small bunch of shallots sliced finely

  • 3 sticks of celery finely chopped

  • pinch of salt and pepper

  • 1 lemon

  • 1/4 cup parsley chopped


  • 1.

    Boil potatoes in salted water until just tender with fork.

  • 2.

    Peel and chop potatoes while alternatlvly squeezing with lemon juice.

  • 3.

    Season and add shallots, celery and parley. Toss through. Beat cream and mayonaise together and fold into potatoes. chill and serve.


Shop mayonaise is naturally sweet so if you use home made mayonaise you may like to sweeten it a little depending on your taste.
