Quick and simple alternative to Garlic Bread, enhances any meal especially BBQs


  • 1 x Large French Stick

  • Margarine or Butter(taste just as nice with low fat marg/butter)

  • 1 x Packet Continental French Onion Soup Mix (Only use Continental doesnt taste as good with other brands)


  • 1.

    Mix apx half a packet of dry Continental French Onion soup mix in a bowl with about 1/2 cup of margarine, stir together.

  • 2.

    Cut French stick into segments about 2-3cm wide, butter both sides and put Frech Stick back together, wrap in alfoil and heat in moderate oven for apx 15-20 minutes until butter is melted throughout.

  • 3.

    Keep wrapped in alfoil for warmth and serve hot.
