G-grandmother's lovely quick and easy Honey Cake


  • 1/4 lb cup sugar

  • 1 cup honey

  • 1/2 cup butter

  • 2 cups SR flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 2 eggs


  • 1.

    Beat butter and sugar to a cream and add well beaten eggs and honey. Slowly add sifted flour and baking powder.

  • 2.

    Bake 35 to 40 minutes in moderate oven.
