Carrot Cake

Lots of carrot!!!!!


  • 4 eggs

  • 180gm vegetable oil

  • 400gm brown sugar

  • 3gm salt

  • 260g Flour

  • 8gm Cinnamon, ground

  • 3gm Baking soda

  • 1gm baking powder

  • 450gm carrots, grated

  • 70gm walnut, chopped/crushed


  • 1.

    Sifted flour, cinnamon, baking soda & baking powder together.

  • 2.

    Put eggs into mixing bowl, beat until fluffy at high speed.

  • 3.

    Turn mixer to low speed, and slowly pour/mix the oil into the eggs.

  • 4.

    Slowly add the brown sugar and salt into the mixture.

  • 5.

    Remove mixture from mixer.

  • 6.

    Carefully fold in the sifted ingredients.

  • 7.

    Finally fold in the carrots and walnuts.

  • 8.

    Pour batter into a greased cake mould.

  • 9.

    Bake in pre-heated oven at 180°C for about 50 minutes, or until its cooked.


Vegetable oil can be replaced with melted butter.
Cooked cake shall be rest to cool before removes from the cake mould.
