Dessert that leaves them speechless
Cut pineapple into long wedges and thread onto long wooden kebab skewers. Marinate the pineapple in Malibu and sprinkle with a little of the sugar. Marinate for at least 4 hours.
To make chocolate sauce - put chocolate, cream, butter and rum into a small saucepan. Heat gently on a BBQ burner until melted and combined.
While making chocolate sauce put pineaple skewers on grill and sprinkle with the remaining sugar. Grill on medium flame until a toffee forms on the pineapple.
To deep fry Bounty bars:
Dip Bounty bar in the sweetened beer batter and deep fry in clean oil. Drain on paper towel
Place Scoop of vanilla icecream then pineapple skewer on plate. Smother with hot chocolate and top with 2 deep fried Bounty bars. Sprinlke with toated cocoanut slivers
This dessert is interchangeable with different fruit, chocolate sauces, spirits and even the mini chocolate bars you fry up. Choc Baileys sauce and deep fried mars bars over premuim icecream is another great combo.
