Yummy Lamb Chop Casserole

This dish is extremely simple to prepare and although the ingredients sound ordinary the end taste is delicious.


  • lamb chops, (any kind you like) trimmed of as much fat as possible. 8 - 10 depending on what kind you choose.

  • 1 large can of heinz big red tomato soup,

  • 2 onions sliced.

  • 2 carrots sliced.

  • 1 cup of frozen peas.

  • Salt and Pepper.

  • 1/4 cup of red wine.


  • 1.

    Lamb chops and other ingredients can be browned, but I find little difference in the taste if they are not, and it just eliminates one step.

  • 2.

    Add all ingredients to a large casserole dish, cover and cook for approximately 1½ hours at 180 degrees. Serve with lashings of mashed potato. Simply yummy
