juicy pork spare ribs marinated and BBQed.

  • 6 pork spare ribs (pork rashers)

  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar

  • 1 teaspoon Keen's mustard

  • freshly ground black pepper

  • clove garlic, crushed

  • bought BBQ sauce

  • 1.

Combine ingredients 2 -4 in a bowl. Add enough BBQ sauce to make the marinade runny but not too runny. Pour over pork spare ribs and leave to marinate for half an hour.

  • 2.

Remove spare ribs from marinade. Place onto hot BBQ and cook using the indirect method, turning every ten minutes and basting with any remaining marinade. Cook for about 30-45 minutes, until meat is cooked and marinade has caramelised

can also be cooked in the oven - takes about 45 mins
can use American spareribs, but need to adjust cooking times
