A yummy slice with no fats or oils.
Beat egg whites until fluffy, then add sugar,
Beating well until sugar is half dissolved.
Add egg yolks and vanilla, mix until combined.
Fold in flour, roughly chopped walnuts and dates.
Put into a prepared slice tray.
Bake in a moderate oven for 25minutes, until top is brown.
Cut into squares while still hot.
Leave to cool.
