  • 2 Eggs

  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • 2- 3 tablespoons Dukkah

  • Lebanese bread to serve

  • Labna (drained yoghurt) to serve

  • 1.

  • 2.

Spread Dukkah on a flat plate

  • 3.

Add butter to pan and allow butter to melt and brown slightly in order to achieve a nutty flavour. Add peeled eggs to pan and gently saute until outer flesh of egg becomes lightly coloured and crispy about 1 minute.

Yum! This is so unusual but sounds delicious. I've never fried boiled eggs before but it sounds good to me!

It really is. My father in law used to make this for my husband and therefore my husband now makes it for me. It beats plain boiled eggs. I like to use cultured butter as it gives a more authentic taste.
