A classic one-pot French dish prepared with chicken and mushrooms simmered in a white wine-tomato sauce.


  • 3 chicken breast

  • 1 diced tomato

  • 1 chopped carrot

  • 1 chopped onion

  • 1 teaspoon crushed garlic

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1 cup of chicken stock

  • 300ml lite thicken cream

  • chicken salt and pepper to taste


  • 1.

    Brown the chicken and then add the onion and garlic.

  • 2.

    Pour in the chicken stock.

  • 3.

    Add the tomato and carrot and simmer for 20 mins.

  • 4.

    Add paprika, salt, pepper and tomato paste. Simmer for a further 10 mins.

  • 5.

    Add cream and simmer for another 20 mins.

  • 6.

    Serve with your favourite side of veges or over rice.


I have a big family, so you can always down size this receipe for fewer people or have some for left overs the next day.
