Quick scone recipe


  • 2 Cups Self Raising Flour

  • 2 Tablespoons Icing Sugar

  • 1 Cup Cream (longlife cream works great!)

  • 1/3 Cup Milk


  • 1.

    Mix all ingredients together until combined

  • 2.

    Knead lightly on a floured board and roll gently to approx 1" thickness.

  • 3.

    Use a scone cutter (or a small glass) to shape the scones.

  • 4.

    Cook for 10-12 minutes on 250 deg.C

  • 5.

    Makes approx 15 Scones


Brush tops of scones with milk or beaten egg, if desired.
Serve with whipped cream or butter and jam.
