Bacon and Smoked Chicken Pesto Pasta

Creamy bacon and smoked chicken pesto pasta with sundried tomatoes


  • 1 x 250g bacon (diced)

  • 1 x onion (diced)

  • 1 x 250g smoked chicken breast (diced)

  • 1 x 600ml cream

  • 1/2 bottle pesto (any brand)

  • 1 x 200g sundried tomatoes (sliced)

  • 1 x 400g tin champignon mushrooms (pieces and stems)

  • 1 x 500g fettecine pasta

  • 1 TBSP parmesan cheese

  • salt and pepper to taste


  • 1.

    In saucepan fry onion and bacon for 3-4 minutes. Toss in chicken and sundried tomatoes and stir for 1 min. Add rest of ingredients and bring to a simmer. Simmer for 10 mins on low and add salt, pepper and parmesean cheese.

    Cook pasta in salted boiling water as per directions on packet. When ready stir in sauce and serve.
