A family favourite all season soup, made initially because I love celery.


  • 1/2 Bunch Celery

  • Large onion

  • 2 rashers of Bacon

  • Knob of Butter

  • 45g Pkt Chicken Noodle Soup

  • 1.5 litres boiling water

  • Cream optional


  • 1.

    Saute diced onion, celery and bacon in the butter for several minutes.

  • 2.

    Add boiling water and Chicken noodle soup.

  • 3.

    Gently boil till celery well cooked.

  • 4.

    Blitz soup till thick and creamy.

  • 5.

    Serve with dob of cream (optional).
