Always tender and tasty i started making these at home in the kitchen or on the bbq when we didnt have much time to cook. They come out perfect everytime providing you use a nice fresh cut of meat.
Peel your onion and slice into rings.
Gently tendorise your 2 steaks and cut both into 2 pieces so you end up with 4 steaks.
Heat a frying pan and add some extra virgin olive oil and the butter.
Add the onion rings and cook for 5 mins or until they have collapsed.
Put your steaks in and 1/2 cook then turn and add maggi seasoning and the soy sauce. Cook to your liking to finish and make sure the onions are nicely caramelised.
Butter your bread if you choose and top with 2 steaks and 1/2 the onions on each sandwich, follow with your favourite sauce and a bit of salt - although not always needed, just do it to your taste.
Serve with a salad or you can add the salad to your sambo!
Make sure the steak is a good quality and that you use fresh bread.
Maggi liquid seasoning is in the sauce section and also in the seasoning, stock, herb section of the supermarket, its very strong in savoury flavor and you only need a few drops - as in 5 or 7
