An easy chocolate fudge recipe that my daughter is bugging me to make once again.
A very simple & tasty recipe & I don't make a HUGE mess in the kitchen.

Ingredients

  • Unsalted Pistachio nuts(no shells),

  • 350g Good dark chocolate (from the deli),.

  • 400g Can condensed Milk,

  • 30g butter & salt.

Method

  • 1.

In a heavy based saucepan add your chopped chocolate, condensed milk butter & salt. Place on a low heat & stir until melted & well combined.

  • 2.

Pop all the pistachio nuts into a freezer bag & bash with rolling pin or meat mallet. It's best when doing this to shake the bag as you go along as then you will have big bits & little bits.

  • 3.

Add the nuts to the chocolate & mix well.

  • 4.

Place mixture into square tray 23cm/9in. The top is best smoothed with a wet knife, or for a different finish get a fork & run the fork through the fudge vertical & then you lines in the fudge.

  • 5.

Let it cool & then pop into fridge for at least an hour or until set.

  • 6.

To get 64 pieces from the tray cut 7 X 7 lines. The pieces will be 3cm X 2cm.

  • 7.

When cut it can be kept in freezer & taken out when reqired & no need to thaw.

Notes

This is a great recipe & we keep it in the freezer & the kids always have a cold treat.
