A rich chocolate tart with tasty macadamia nuts throughout
Butterscotch sauce –
Heat sugar & water over low heat until sugar dissolves. Boil mixture until golden brown. Whisk in warmed thickened cream until smooth.
Place macadamias on bottom of tart shells. Pour butterscotch mixture over macadamias and side of tart shells. Cook tart shells as per packet instructions (if required).
Place cream, sugar & salt in ban and bring to boil. As soon as boiled, remove from heat, add butter & chocolate. Stir until completely melted. Allow mixture to cool & gradually stir in milk. Pour in tart shell. Refrigerate until set.
