Make scones that rise every time with only a handful of ingredients.
Preheat oven to 180 .
In a large bowl combine all ingredients. add any extras- eg sultanas.
Knead on a surface until combined, add some more flour if too sticky.
Cut out scones, brush with water and cook for 15- 20 minutes.
These freeze well and can be reheated in the microwave.
