A variation on the classic spag bol from Italy, I do it this way to get the kids to at it!

  • 800 g lean mince

  • tin of diced tomatoes

  • 1 beef stock cube

  • 1 onion

  • a good squirt of tomato sauce

  • 1 tablespoon of sugar

  • half a tube of fresh mixed herbs (from the fruit and vege section at the supermarket)

  • half a pacet of spagetti

  • Teaspoon of minced garlic or a minced clove of garlic

  • 1.

Dice your onion and add to the pan with the garlic and brown

  • 2.

Add the mince and brown that off

  • 3.

Add the tin tomatoes and the squirt of tomato sauce

  • 4.

Add your mixed herbs, beef stock and sugar and simmer whilst the spaghetti is cooking

  • 5.

Serve out once the spaghetti is cooked, the sauce will have reduced a bit by then and be a bit thicker

  • 6.

Serve with lots of grated cheese of your choice!
