Pies that anyone can make that taste delicious.
Preheat oven to 180 degrees C
In a frypan, cook onion in a little oil until soft and browned. Add garlic, cook for another minute then add white wine. Cook for a further minute.
Add chicken and cook until no more pink can be seen.
Add mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes.
Add chicken stock and cream and let it reduce down, making sure there is still some liquid remaining. If not add a little extra chicken stock or cream. this will take 5 - 10 minutes on high heat.
Season with pepper.
Add cornflour and stir until thick.
Cut pastry sheets in half, add 3 - 4 tablespoons of chicken mixture to one half of cut pastry sheet. Fold other half of pastry over chicken mix, turn the edges of bottom sides up and over the edges of top half. Press the 3 sides with a fork to seal.
Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper and brush pastry with a little milk. Bake for 10 - 15 minutes.
