found it ages ago in one of my mothers cookbooks


  • 125g cream cheese

  • 1/4 cup castor sugar

  • 1 egg

  • 2 teaspoons grated lemon rind

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 pastry flan case

  • 2 bananas thinly sliced

  • 3/4 cup thickened cream whipped


  • 1.

    Beat cream cheese and sugar in a small bowl until smooth. Add egg, lemon juiceand rind and beat until just combined. Pour mixture into pastry case and bake in a moderate oven for 25 mins or until filling is set. Remove pie from oven and cool completely. When cool, top pie evenly with banana and spread with whipped cream. Refridgerate until ready to serve.
