Fluffy and light tangy lemon dessert - serve hot with cream or ice cream or both


  • 2 cup sugar

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 4 rounded tbsp plain flour

  • juice and rind of 3 lemons (you can add more or less according to taste)

  • 4 eggs

  • 3 cups milk


  • 1.

    Separate eggs

  • 2.

    Add all ingredients to a blender except for egg whites

  • 3.

    Blend well

  • 4.

    Add mixture to greased oven dish

  • 5.

    Beat egg whites with a teaspoon of cold water until stiff

  • 6.

    Fold stiffened egg whites through other mixture

  • 7.

    Cook in moderate over (180) until golden brown


This would have to be one of the quickest, easiest and tastiest desserts to make and all our friends love it.
