  • 1.5 cup of castor sugar

  • 1 cup of water

  • .5 tsp of Bi-Carb Soda

  • 2 tablespoon of Cocoa

  • 125g of butter

  • 1.5 cups of Self Raising Flour


  • 1.

    Grease small round tin, preheat oven to 180°c oven

  • 2.

    Boil all ingredients for 3 minutes then allow to cool.

  • 3.

    Add 2 well beaten eggs

  • 4.

    Mix in 1 ½ cups of Self Raising Flour (sifted)


cooking time depends on your oven so, cook until cake bounces back when touched or skewer comes out clean
