This is the best corn bread. Just like my grandmother used to make.
American Southern corn bread is traditionally eaten with Chilli Con Carne or Ham and beans or just as a tasty side to any meal.
Sift dry ingredients together; mix in vegetable oil until mixture is coarse like meal. Combine eggs and milk; stir in flour and cornmeal mixture. Bake in greased muffin pans or square cake tin at 200C for 25 to 30 minutes. Makes about 1.5 dozen muffins
