Kassas Rissoles

This is a low carb recipe that can be used on their own with a tossed salad or in a burger


  • 600 g beef or lamb mince

  • 1 roughly diced onion

  • 1/2 grated carrot

  • 1 beef oxo cube

  • 2 tbs soy sauce

  • 2 tbs tomato sauce

  • 2 tbs bbq sauce


  • 1.

    Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Roll into palm size portions.

  • 2.

    Place in a hot grill, let cook for a few seconds before pressing down.

  • 3.

    Cook for a few minutes, then turn.

  • 4.

    Serve with a tossed salad or in a burger bun with salad.
