Budget meal from basic ingredients


  • 500gm good quality lamb mince

  • 1 cup fresh breadcrumbs

  • 1 clove garlic, crushed

  • zest of one lemon

  • juice of half lemon

  • 1/4 cup chopped mint

  • 1/4 cup rosemary leaves


  • 1.

    Place all ingredients in large bowl - with your hands mix well. Mould into patties - should make 12, then place in fridge for an hour to chill and firm.

  • 2.

    Lightly oil hot BBQ plate or frypan and cook 3-4 mins each side then enjoy.
