Thick, luscious pancakes designed to clog your heart!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups x flour

  • 3 tablespoons x brown sugar

  • 2.25 cups x milk

  • 2 x eggs

  • 0.5 teaspoons x salt

  • 4 teaspoons x baking powder

  • 4 teaspoons x cooking oil

  • Optional: butter, maple syrup, golden syrup

Method

  • 1.

    Combine the flour, sugar, eggs, salt, baking powder and cooking oil in a large bowl.

  • 2.

    Gradually add the milk, and stir in until mixture is fairly thick (like a honey thickness). You probably won't need the full 2.25 cups of milk.

  • 3.

    Mix thoroughly until smooth.

  • 4.

    Add some of the mixture (how much is up to how big you want your pancakes) to a hot oiled pan and cook on medium heat until each side is golden brown colour.

  • 5.

    Serve as is, or add butter and syrup.
