Garlic Mussels

Mussels lightly cooked in Garlic, parsley & olive oil.


  • 1 kg of Black Mussels

  • Fresh Garlic Cloves minced (about 4-5 pieces)

  • Fresh Continental parsley

  • 3 Large tablespoons Olive Oil

    Wash Mussels really well under cold running water, put minced garlic, olive oil & chopped parsley into a non stick deep frying pan. Throw Mussels in once garlic starts to sizzle. Toss Mussels a few times and then put a lid on on the frying pan. Cook 5 minutes, then turn off high heat and allow Mussels to simmer for another 5 minutes until they open. The mussels will create their own delicious juices.
