This is a concoction that I made up one day when I was about 17 years old, and bored. I also wanted something different to take to a school break up function we were having as year 12 students. Twenty years on, I haven't met a person yet who doesn't love it and want more of the fudgey, chewy confectionary
Simply mix everything in a large bowl. It will become stiff but sticky in consistency.
Line a lamington tray with baking paper, and spread the mixture onto the tray. Cover with cling wrap and refrigerate for about 1 hour, or until set.
If desired, drizzle with extra melted chocolate, perhaps in contrast to the one used in the recipe for extra glamour.
Cut into squares to serve.
Keeps well in air tight container in fridge for about 1 week (not that it will last that long)
There are many possible variations, such as the type of biscuit used to create different flavours and consistencies. Chopped dried fruits and /or nuts also work very well when mixed through.
Chocolate scalliwag biscuits, dark choc and peppermint oil makes a very indulgent, rich after dinner slice, great with coffee.
