Quick healthy meal for all the family


  • 300grms rump steak diced

  • packet mixed frozen vegetables (your choice)

  • packet pre mixed stir fry sauce from supermarket (our fav Chinese flavoured)

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • packet hokkien noodles (feeds 2-3 people)


  • 1.

    Heat wok till fairly hot and put in diced steak to brown in a little oil. Salt & pepper the steak while browning. Take this meat out and put to one side.

  • 2.

    Add vegetables to wok and cook till still firm in a little oil. Then add the cooked meat and sauce mix. Stir mixture through and cook for a further 2 or 3 minutes with the lid of the wok on. Cut the noodles into smaller pieces for ease of eating if you wish, and run them under hot water from the tap while in a sieve. Then add the noodles to the dish and heat through. Serve in bowls.


Can leave the noodles out and serve on steamed rice if you wish.
